Nicole Dickinson & Adam Polinger

Nicole Dickinson is the founder of Olfactory Archeology. Olfactory Archeology is a natural candle and perfume company that specializes in employing vintage techniques and ingredients whenever possible. The inspiration for Olfactory Archeology came when Nicole was participating in an archeological dig around an imperial bath house outside of Rome, Italy.  The experience and the subsequent research that followed drove Nicole to begin creating beautiful smelling products rooted in research and history, thus Olfactory Archeology was born. Nicole currently resides in Toms River NJ and also enjoys photography and teaching.

Adam Polinger is a Landscape and Fine Art photographer originally from Westfield NJ. Adam has a degree in Photojournalism and also has an extensive background in film photography where he developed an unnatural love for darkroom chemical and fixative smells. Adam is currently working on a photography project that highlights New Jersey’s protected lands that due to a change in legislation might be now open to development. Adam is also an avid outdoorsman who instructs kayaking and stand up paddleboarding in the Toms River area where he currently resides.
